Upland Real Estate Upland, CA, is a city of about 69,000 people in San Bernardino County. Downtown Upland Downtown Upland is a historic place with lots of shops, restaurants and antique stores. A number of festivals and other annual events take place in this charming district throughout the year. This includes the Upland Lemon Festival in April, the Second Avenue Farmer’s Market from April to October, and the Children’s Christmas Parade in December. A notable landmark in Upland is the Madonna of the Trail, a stone statue depicting a pioneer mother and two children heading westward. There are twelve of the statues scattered across the U.S. along the covered wagon trail with the Upland one being the final one. The Grove Theater offers outstanding musical and theatrical productions and is located on East 9th Street in Upland. A first-class shopping center can be found at the Colonies Crossroad Shopping center, which features such stores as Kohl’s and Target. Upland also offers a variety of recreational activities. The Upland Hills Country Club provides the chance to relax on some gorgeous golf greens, while several fitness studios such as Get Fit Upland and LA Fitness allow residents to stay in shape. The surrounding area also has an abundance of entertainment attractions, ranging from the ski and mountain resorts to the north and east to the wonderful beaches a short drive away to the south. Just around the corner from Upland lie the communities of Rancho Cucamonga, with excellent real estate and business opportunities for residents, as well as the community of San Dimas, a playground for recreational enthusiasts; included is a large water park: Raging Waters Water Park.
