The Victoria Gardens Regional Shopping Mall is a large open-air shopping center with many different retail shops and outlets.  The newest addition is Bass Pro Shop and Restaurant. Nearby, the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center provides an amazing combination of literature and performing arts in 90,000 square feet. There are public theater performances by the local Main Street Theatre Company, school group performances and theater skills workshops at the Lewis Family Playhouse. The library reading program also participates here. Celebration Hall provides a place to celebrate the arts and personal achievements.

The Terra Vista Shopping Mall also offers a wide variety of shopping experiences to fit every budget. Terra Vista offers fine restaurants and eateries as well as a movie theatre. The local Grape Harvest  festival is held annually in September and is celebrating its 68th year. This festival is the oldest of its kind. It features live entertainment on a main stage, unique crafts, grape stomping, wine tasting and a pie eating contest. In addition, there are several major wineries nearby that allow touring and tasting. J. Fillipi winery is one of the area's finest. There is also a Renaissance Faire every spring at the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area. During the holidays, the Thoroughbred Christmas Lights celebration lights up the night sky. The Ontario Mills Mall is also nearby in the neighboring city of Ontario, California  an outlet mall with movie theatres and restaurants allows visitors to take in an afternoon matinee anytime. Central Park, which opened in 2005 and will continue to grow in the future, is a large community center with two main halls. It is ideal for hosting large events. The Central Park complex is over 103 acres. Programs and activities include dance classes for kids and adults, playschool, aerobics and various trips and tours. This facility has a beautiful senior center complete with a gym, pool tables, computers and more.  The California League affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, gives sports fans a local minor league baseball team to cheer for. Other recreation in the area includes golfing and numerous sports leagues for all ages.

Those with kids have plenty of amusement parks to choose from, with Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Legoland, Magic Mountain, and Raging Waters Water Park are all located nearby. The San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park are also not too far away from Rancho Cucamonga. During the winter, snow activities like skiing are available in the nearby mountains. Mt. Baldy and Wrightwood are just a short drive.  For adults, there are also many casinos in the area to try your luck at. Racing enthusiasts will also appreciate that the California Speedway in Fontana California is not too far away.

Rancho Cucamonga is also home to quite a few excellent restaurants, many of which illustrate the diverse culture of the area. There are bar and grills, Bar-B-Q joints, buffets, cafes, several fine Chinese places, delis, fast food, Greek restaurants, Indian Restaurants, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, Thai, pizza, seafood and all-American steakhouses. Some of the better dining places include: Lucille’s, Flemings, PF Chang’s Chinese Bistro, and Joe’s Crab Shack.
